About Nidarshana:
Nidarshana is an incoming junior at Irvington High School with a passion for education, community service, and outreach. She's a hardworking, optimistic, and dedicated student leader hoping to bring real change to education accessibility worldwide.
Passions:
Some of her hobbies include debate — which she has been doing since 4th grade, karate — in which she's currently a second-degree black belt, and robotics — as she has done First Lego League & First Tech Challenge since 6th grade and have even helped host an official FLL Qualifier Tournament. She's also active in her school community as an officer of her school’s biomedical science club, mental health club, and a member of its debate team.
What do you like the most about Edutine?
I’m honored to be a part of the Edutine Board because Edutine’s mission of providing free, accessible education worldwide really speaks to me and aligns with my passion. The work Edutine is doing in the education community across the globe to help promote better equity and knowledge is truly inspiring and makes me happy to be a part of the team, as we’re able to change the world one student at a time!
What are your accomplishments with Edutine?
My accomplishments with Edutine include:

Tutored students in various levels of mathematics for 150+ hours over 1.5 years

Created 35 weeks worth of tutoring curriculum and material for Algebra I

Created 6 Instagram posts, 2 reels, and a YouTube introduction video to promote Edutine on Social Media

Helped drive a 700% increase in viewership, expanding audience engagement and following
